If you’re living in Tarneit, Werribee Open Range Zoo is less than 30 minutes down the road. And trust us when we say that their latest activation will have kids of all ages absolutely enthralled!

For this summer only, the zoo is hosting an awesome new activity, bringing National Geographic Kids: Weird but True animal facts to life. This limited time, interactive exhibition will uncover so many interesting and wild animal facts. For instance, did you know that giraffes used to be called Camelopards?

Kids will get the chance to delve into this wondrous world full of wacky animals through games, fun performance, zany art and surprising installations.

You can expect to discover species that glow in the dark, animals that have been raised by NASA astronauts in space and much more as you explore the four fun zones on offer.

Werribee Zoo is also hosting extra fun throughout the school holidays and weekends. Cheeky animal DJs will demonstrate just how strange animal sounds can be with their very own in-house radio station. Special guests The Mik Maks will also perform in the African Village on Saturday 13th and 20th of January.

Now, are you ready to get weird and wild these school holidays?
