Wyndham is Open for Business

Here at Orchard, Tarneit we’re pretty lucky – and proud – to be located in the City of Wyndham. Even prouder that our council is doing their bit to proactively support its constituents and local businesses during the current health crisis.

The latest initiative is a campaign called “Wyndham Together”. The idea is to get our community behind local businesses and help preserve jobs. It’s great news for the 84,000 workers in the area – and of course their families.

The council has created a convenient business directory, letting residents know which shops and services are currently open and how they’re adapting to meet the challenges we’re currently facing so they can continue to serve our community. Council has also launched a new website, with loads of FREE activities to help you stay connected! While we can’t physically get together in some of the places and at the events we love, Wyndham City will be bringing them to you, with new programs being developed and content added daily.

A social media campaign promoting the hashtags #wyndhamopen and #wyndhamtogether is helping to spread the word and keep us connected. It’s a great way to share stories of kindness, joy and support for our local businesses and for one another.
