Winter House Party Bringing the Fun Directly to Your Lounge Room

Winter just wouldn’t be the same without Wyndham City’s annual Winter Street Party! In a slight departure from the usual festivities, this year’s wintery fun will be brought directly to your home thanks to the Winter House Party!

Instead of venturing out into the cold, Wyndham City will bring you an hour of artistic performances live-streamed straight to your couch, so you can experience the best parts of their famous Winter Street Party, minus the crowds.

A great line up of local artists is ready to entertain virtual crowds with live music, fire shows and ice sculpture demonstrations for the social distancing friendly affair.

As locals will know, the yearly showstopper is a spectacular ice sculpture and this year is no different. The incredibly talented Paul Lowcock will create an ice sculpture in Wyndham right before your eyes. So, be sure to tune into the live stream for the hour to watch his progress and see if you can guess what he’s carving!

You can also catch local artists, Opal Ocean, performing a live acoustic guitar set that fuses rock and flamenco to create a seriously epic sound!

There’ll also be a live silent magic show from Mr Marmalade and viewers will get to witness an art piece come to life with local artist Paul Rok.

To close the show, audiences will be treated to a captivating fire performance featuring fire-eating performers and awe-inspiring acrobatics.

What better way to see out the school term and kick off the weekend than by snuggling up on the couch with the family to enjoy a touch of fire, ice, magic and some smooth tunes?
