Interested in helping to shape the future of football in Western Melbourne?

Recently, news broke that Tarneit could become home to a world-class sporting precinct in the shape of a brand new soccer stadium, with the recent shortlisting of the Western Melbourne Group in the race for a Football Federation License.

Success would not only mean a new A-League team for Melbourne based in Wyndham, it would also bring about the creation of a multi-million dollar 15,000 seat stadium in Tarneit as part of a wider precinct plan that would introduce a host of sport and community related amenities to the area.

Now, Western Melbourne is holding its first Fan Forum, extending the opportunity for the community to learn more and become engaged in this exciting opportunity for Tarneit and the city of Wyndham.

Members from the Western Melbourne Group Bid Team will be in attendance for a Q&A, allowing people to chat to the people directly involved about the aspirations and the vision informing their A-League bid.

Keen to have your say? Western Melbourne’s first Fan Forum will be held at 7pm on Monday August 13 at Encore Events Centre, 80 Derrimut Road in Hoppers Crossing. Kids are welcome to attend, but limited numbers are available so register today to make sure your voice is heard!
