Watch as Wyndham Shines for Winter Street Party

Be dazzled by glowing angels and mesmerised by glow-in-the-dark hula hoopers at Wyndham City’s FREE Winter Street Party! A huge program of new and exciting events will grace this mid-year bash on Friday 28 June, from 4pm to 9pm.

For one magical evening, Werribee City Centre will come alive after dark with beautiful light installations, street performs, kids’ activities and music. From twinkling fairies to dazzling fire shows, this year’s program is sure to be spectacular! And of course, there’ll be lots of warming winter fare to keep you full and toasty.

This year, festivities will be spread across five major precincts of Station Place, Watton Street, Comben Drive, Wedge St Piazza and Wyndham Cultural Centre.

Renowned Melbourne theatre company Born in a Taxi will be bringing a huge glowing cube to the heart of Station Place! With wondrous visual effects lighting up the night, The Cube will captivate audiences.

A crowd favourite from last year, Carla O’Brien is set to return with a series of playful new works. She’ll be bringing her vibrant and glowing Neon to Watton Street, an amazingly colourful installation of LED Neon Flex pieces that are sure to brighten up the night! From neon dogs to hearts, umbrellas and balloons, each piece is touchable making for an immersive 3D experience.

Kids will be catered for too, with lots of winter themed workshops and activities to keep them entertained. They can create a tea light penguin if they fancy, decorate an igloo or partake in some neon mini golf.

Local businesses will also be open late on the night, with special winter offers and warming dishes for all to enjoy. Plus, fire and ice performances will dazzle crowds, and for anyone who feels like a boogie, there’ll be a DJ on deck to pump out tunes at the LED dance floor!
