Tarneit to celebrate with Baden Powell College Carnival
Baden Powell College is giving the Tarneit community cause to come together, in celebration of its 10th anniversary as a unified educational facility across two campuses.
It goes back to when Derrimut Heath Primary School, founded in 1992, was joined by Tarneit Prep-Year 9 campus in 2008, adding an innovative new facility to Wyndham’s network of local community schools and creating Baden Powell College.
Their ten-year celebratory festivities kick off Saturday 21 April from 10am, at the Tarneit Campus on Baden Powell Drive. There’ll be games, stalls, a dunking machine, spinning wheels and rides, as well as an auction and family entertainment including a fairy room, face-painting and showbags.
Better still for those with an appreciation of history and tradition, there’ll also be a special display of memorabilia in commemoration of the past decade.
