As summer comes to a close, it’s time to tick off the things you may not have got around to yet, or revisit them for one last fling before Autumn kicks in. Make sure that one of those things is Street Food Sunday, at Werribee City Centre’s Pop Up Park.

Over the summer Pop Up Park has hosted a revolving roster of Street Food supremos to delight the taste bud of food lovers, showcasing flavours from around the world including Modern Indian, Chinese, Vietnamese and Argentinian Street Food, and even the smoky strains of the American Deep South.

This Sunday February 18 sees the following vendors prepping dishes for the adoring crowds:

The Art of Fried Chicken Delicious fried chicken, wings and chicken fillet sliders await your delectation. Matched with sides of Vietnamese slaw and sriracha mayo, fried and delicious lemon pepper and hot sauces just to top it all off. Yum!

Curry Up Now These legends bring all the richness of modern Indian cuisine right to you with their menu of curries, samosa, and more. Ever tried a tandoori taco wrapped in naan? Now you can!

Phat Franks Loaded fries topped with BBQ smoked meats and house-made sauces, shakes and doughnuts... let Nick and Connie Christous take you on an ideal American culinary adventure along the Interstate of flavour.

Sweet Forbidden Journey What could possibly follow-up the above flavours? Here’s a hint: sweets. Ice-cream sandwiches, sundaes, milkshakes, banana splits, not to mention Sweet Forbidden Journey’s famous (takes deep breath) Brownie Sundae and Party Time Ice Cream Sandwich with Honey Joy and Chocolate Crackle Ice Cream between 100s & 1000s Cookies!

What could be better than taking in some music and late summer sun, than combining it with the sort of food that just dances on the tongue? Street Food Sundays is happening at Pop Up Park, Werribee City Centre on Sunday the 18th and 25th of this month. To see who’s serving up next week, keep your eye on updates at their Facebook page.
