Play Expo Tarneit

Play is crucial to developing minds. It grants kids the confidence to explore and engage with their world, and provides the necessary uplift for imagination to take flight. The long-term benefits of play on things like physical and mental health, fitness and general wellbeing are incontrovertible.

Not only is it great for the kids, but play can provide a great release to parents also. It is with this mind that Wyndham City, in conjunction with local Early Childhood Professionals, hosts the Play Expo.

This free event is designed to give parents with children aged 5 and under inspiration and ideas for hands-on play experiences in and around the home, to foster greater interactions between parents and their children through low-cost play and everyday items.

Play Expo staff take the time to engage with families while they’re involved with play, to talk through the opportunities open to them and discuss the value that engaged play brings. It’s an instructive and fun morning that is sure to provide any parent with a host of new possibilities to explore!
