Nightjar Festival Geelong
Do you enjoy food, music and generally having a good time? If your answer is yes we’d highly suggest you get along to Nightjar Geelong this February!
It might be the little sister of Nightjar Torquay, but this event packs just as much punch. Diving into its 9th year, the festival is once again stepping it up offering a wide variety of food, market stalls and banging live performances.
Visitors can expect to enjoy a relaxed night under the stars, exploring everything on offer in the Nightjar wonderland. There will be a variety of stalls showcasing the wares of emerging designers, providing perfect perusing opportunities for those on the lookout for unique treasures. Over 50 stalls will set up shop for the Geelong festivities, bringing everything from jewellery, clothing, delicious homemade treats and whimsical art.
All that market meandering will probably leave you with quite the appetite! Luckily, a variety of international culinary delights will be available throughout the evening. From hearty meals provided by Curry Up Now to delicious snacks from Perla Tacos and refreshing ice cream from Bianco Latte – there’ll be something dished up for everyone to enjoy.
A different set of live performances will complete the festival atmosphere each Friday. An array of talented musicians will entertain crowds including Tess Guthrie, Momoko Rose and Ben Whiting Trio.
Entry is free for children 13 years and under, with tickets just $5 for everyone else. Festivities kick off from 4pm every Friday evening in February at Johnstone Park, Geelong.
