Midsumma Festival in Werribee: Park Lounge at Kelly Park

Things are set to get colourful this February in Werribee, when Park Lounge returns as part of the annual Midsumma Festival, one of Australia’s premier queer arts and culture events. Presented by Wyndham City, Park Lounge is a FREE family-friendly event that celebrates inclusivity and visibility of the LGBTIQ+ community.

In its usual colourful style, this year’s Park Lounge offers a jam-packed program full of music and dance that will captivate attendees. Held on Saturday 8 February from 5pm, the day will feature a lineup of amazing artists, cabaret divas and musicians.

Tristan Meecham will be hosting the event, entertaining the audience with banter and applause inspiring costume changes as they quench their thirst with beverages from the pop-up bar.

PO PO MO CO will be presenting their show ‘Once Upon a Drag Storytime’, a high-energy physical comedy in a fabulous celebration of gender and diverse families for children and their adults.

Audiences can also expect to see amazing displays of cabaret noir from Jex Lopez as well as performances by Kilia Tipa and multi award-winning queer cabaret queen Yana Alana & The Paranas.
