Kick off 2018 Year with parkrun!

Looking for a bit of get up and go as the year kicks off? Then strap your laces and stretch those legs, because the Wyndham Vale parkrun is happening near you!

Organised by parkrun Australia, the Wyndham Vale parkrun takes place every Saturday morning from Presidents Park, McGrath Rd. It’s not about racing against other runners – this is a 5km timed run, jog or walk.

It’s all about the fun of physical activity, but many also use it as a part of their own personal training plan. It’s a great way to get active and take in your neighbourhood. And taking part is easy.

Simply register on the parkrun website in advance by 6pm on the Friday before you wish to participate, print out your unique barcode, and bring it with you on the Saturday morning to run, walk, or simply have fun!

There are a couple of simple rules to be observed. Bikes and scooters are not permitted for safety reasons, but bubs in prams and dogs are welcome. Also, children under 11 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
