Orchard Tarneit First Residents Move In Ribbon Cutting

We are delighted to share that the very first residents at Orchard Tarneit have officially moved in. The Dhaliwal family recently finished building their first home in Stage 1 at Orchard, and to mark the occasion, the team hosted an official ribbon cutting ceremony! The Orchard sales team and members from developer Dahua Group were on hand to welcome Ratinder Dhaliwal and her family to Orchard Tarneit and were eager to hear what they’re looking forward to most.

After moving down from Darwin, the family of eight including mum Ratinder is excited to put down roots and are very much looking forward to building a prosperous future at Orchard.

“We wanted to make sure we could move in time to get settled before the new school year. Our son will be starting at the local primary school, which is very exciting.

“For the future, we are really looking forward to having Orchard Park nearby, somewhere for the kids to play and to have lots of family picnics. It’s also great to know there will be a bus stop and school nearby in the future, that will make life even easier.”

Having looked at other estates in the area, Ratinder and her family decided on Orchard because they were able to find a great lot size to build a home big enough for their family’s needs.

“Orchard also provides landscaping rebates for the beautification of the front of the house, which is an added bonus.

“We really just cannot wait to add the final touches to the interior of the home, to really make the space our own.”

Since moving in, the family has already begun cultivating quite an impressive backyard veggie garden. All manner of fresh produce is springing happily from the soil including spinach, mint, coriander and fittingly, a plum and an apple tree. With a farming heritage, the Dhaliwal family have plans to expand their garden even further, we’re sure this will make them quite popular with their neighbours!

“It is lovely to be living in a place that already has a great sense of community. We have already had the chance to meet and say hello to many of our neighbours and everyone is so friendly.

“And with the Sikh temple just down the road for our family to attend, we’re really getting to know everyone in our area.”

Ratinder and her family are not the only ones who are excited about the Orchard community coming to life. Piotr Rutkowski, Senior Development Manager from Dahua Group, welcomed the Dhaliwal family to Orchard Tarneit and had this to say.

“Seeing the community come to life is what we love most.

“Now that families have begun moving in, our vision for Orchard Tarneit is another step closer to becoming a reality.”

We congratulate the Dhaliwal family on their achievement of building a beautiful home, and for being the first residents to officially move into Orchard Tarneit.
