Family Night Out at the Sunday Movie Club

Classic films and family favourites, but not as you know them. As part of their 2019 program, the Wyndham Cultural Centre is hosting a Sunday Movie Club featuring a line-up of cult classics…with a twist!

Throughout the evening, audiences can expect to be delighted by some of Melbourne’s best live performers and talented MC’s. They’ll be accompanying each film with sing-a-longs, interactive moments and even costume competitions. Whether you’ve watched these movies a thousand times before, or seeing them for the first time, you’re sure to be entertained.

Alongside show-stopping numbers like Chicago and the out of this world Little Shop of Horrors, Sunday Movie Club will also be offering family favourites. Think The Sound of Music, Labyrinth, Princess Bride and The Blues Brothers.

The season will begin Sunday 24 March at 7 pm with a showing of The Sound of Music. So embrace your inner Von Trapp and prepare for a joyous sing-a-long. Hilarious MC’s will be on hand to take the audience through a pre-film vocal warm up. And, guests are encouraged to dress in their best Sound of Music outfits for their chance to win the costume competition.
