Location

Tarneit is known as a true gateway to the city, country, and coast. Part of the City of Wyndham, the area holds an increasing number of established amenities such as schools, civic services, and business hubs. Tarneit is a high-growth area, with government funding sure to encourage employment and community growth over the coming years.

Recreational Space

Following the opening of Orchard Park, the strip of open space that runs through the north of Orchard Tarneit is currently under construction. Flemings Landscapes are set to create new paths and gardens to exercise, relax and play. Residents will be able to meander through the park or work out at one of the many fitness stations located along the way.

A major sporting and active recreation facility within the Community Precinct Master Plan for Tarneit North is also set to be built in the coming years.

1. Football Club

Due to be completed in 2023, the Wyndham Elite Training Facility will be available for community use.

2. Education

Garrang Wilam Primary School and kinder is under construction in nearby Truganina and is expected to be finished early next year. More proposed future non-government schools are also on the horizon - so stay tuned!

3. Roads

The Wyndham council 2020-21 budget set aside $23 million for road projects, which includes the upgrade of Tarneit Road between Sayers and Leakes Road - with more essential road infrastructure projects in the pipeline.
