Some new fearsome creatures can be found at Werribee Zoo this April/May! Part of their Easter school holiday offering, Zoorassic is an awesome experience that allows visitors to walk amongst incredibly life-like animatronic dinosaurs. These prehistoric giants are taking up residence along the zoo’s Werribee River Trail. Kids enjoying school holidays are sure to be wowed by the ferocious creatures on display, especially the mighty 15 metre-long tyrannosaurus rex.

But kids aren’t having all the fun! Dino Files is a special series of dinosaur themed events for over 18s. For three Sunday nights in April and May, adults will get access to exclusive after-dark events. So if you’re keen to eat, drink and walk with the dinosaurs, plus take in some added entertainment, this is the event for you!

Getting Scientific
The first event in this after-dark series sees the team at Sci Fight Comedy Debate discuss important issues in a hilariously entertaining way as comedians and scientists face off. The all-important topic of this debate: we should bring back the dinosaurs.

Held on Sunday 28 April.

Cut Your Teeth on Prehistoric General Knowledge
We all love a spot of trivia, and this is your chance to test your dinosaur knowledge against other lovers of the Jurassic! Bring along a team of 4-6 and a picnic rug and settle in on the lawn for an evening of dinosaur quizzing. Brush up on your general knowledge, questions will cover everything from pop culture, fact, fiction and lots in between.

Held on Sunday 5 May.

Choose Your own Dungeon Adventure
You might be familiar with Dungeons and Dragons, but this is Dungeons and Dinosaurs! Hit Melbourne improv group Dungeon Crawl will take audiences through a live-action adventure, as they guide a party of comedians and improvisers on a D&D inspired adventure. In this show, the audience gets to influence what happens, but success still hinges on the roll of the dice.

Held on Sunday 19 May
