Wyndham Multicultural Festival

The Wyndham Multicultural Festival is back on Sunday 29 May from 12pm at Point Cook Town Centre, Main Street Point Cook, with a new look and stellar line-up of entertainment!

This fantastic family occasion is a great chance to celebrate the wonderful cultures of Wyndham, with the day set to include roughly 50 performances from the Chinese, Indian, African, Indonesian, Thai and Pacifica communities. And, in keeping with the tradition of previous Point Cook Lunar New Year Festivals, the ever-popular Dragon and Lion dances will make special appearances at 1pm and 5pm.

A wide range of delicious and diverse food will be available on the day from local restaurants and food trucks. There’ll also be plenty for the kids to see and do, with carnival rides, jumping castles, face-painting, lantern making, as well as an animal petting farm and much more.

The festival will also include a multicultural art exhibition, organised by Chinese artists depicting landscapes, portraits and abstract art, which will be displayed at the Point Cook Community Learning Centre. The day will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display at 8pm on the Dunnings Road Reserve.
