Women’s League Football is Coming to Wyndham

Local football club Western United will be granted a W-League licence ahead of the 2023 World Cup!

Wyndham City football fans will soon have their own W-League club to cheer on with pride. Women and girls of the west can look forward to donning the green and black to pursue their dreams of playing at a national level. The inclusion of a women’s team is a significant milestone in the young club’s history and one that is sure to inspire future generations of local sportswomen.

Western United FC is now preparing to ensure the W-League team are at peak performance level ahead of the 2022/23 season.

Wyndham City is finalising plans to construct a 15,000-seat stadium and state-of-the-art training facilities and sports fields in Tarneit, which will become home to the Western United Football Club.
