From community workshops and classes to live music and twilight movies, we’ve got a breakdown of all the Pop Up goodness.

Outdoor Cinema

Everyone loves an outdoor cinema in summer, so why not pull up a beanbag and catch a classic family film under the stars. Uber popular musical hit The Greatest Showman will be screening, along with crowd pleasers like Sherlock Gnomes, Jumanji and more. Outdoor cinema sessions will run every Saturday night, starting at the child-friendly time of 5pm.

Friday Night Live

Friday Night Live

Kick back with a picnic on the grass, and soak up the sounds of summer with the Friday Night Live program!

This all-ages free concert series is sure to please all music lovers, with a great line-up of local artists and fantastic headline acts. Australian music darling Kate Ceberano kicks off festivities on Friday 18 January, followed by Bella Paige and Michelle Gardiner. Other performers include rock legends CHOIRBOYS, folk duo The Audreys plus the winner of The Voice 2018 Sam Perry.

Street Food Sundays

Everyone’s favourite part of any festival or event…the food!

Each Sunday a different flavour from around the world will feature at the Pop Up Park, starting with Americana. From there your taste buds will navigate the globe, travelling to Latin America, India, Asia, Greece and the UK – and all without a passport!

Community Workshops

Pop Up Park Workshops

Not forgetting the weekdays, the Pop Up Park is also bringing a great range of community workshops, crafting and fitness classes for young and old.

For the kids, there’s a whole range of activities to keep them entertained. They can try their hand at chess, enjoy toy making workshops and art classes. And for the very little ones, Hey Dee Ho sessions offer music and activities specifically for babies to pre-schoolers.

As for the adults, there are a range of Come and Try fitness classes offering pilates, tai chi and lawn bowls. Great if you feel like getting active before work or on your lunch break! Yak and Yarn workshops will have you knitting up a storm, and the Language Café offers a great opportunity to make new friends while practising conversational English language skills.

It’s definitely going to be a jam-packed five weeks of summer fun! Visit the Wyndham City website for more information and to download the full Pop Up Park program today.
