Fun and Games at Orchard Parkfest!

Neighbours and friends turned up in droves to enjoy our exclusive residents-only Orchard Park Festival on Sunday 11th April. Not even the weather could dampen the spirits of our fun-loving and close-knit Orchard community!

There were heaps of fun activities for the whole family, but especially for the kiddies. The jumping castle and face painting were big hits, but the longest queues were unsurprisingly for the free ice cream! And of course, we couldn’t have a party in the park without coffee, cake and a spot of hot choccy for the kids!

United Tarneit Cricket Club put on a clinic and looked like they might’ve found a few new recruits. Judging from the skills on display from our community, they’ll be the team to beat next summer! Watch the video below to see how the day unfolded.

Maryanne Decleva was one of our residents who enjoyed the festivities, and we asked her about the day. “Orchard Parkfest has given us the opportunity to meet more of our neighbours,” she said. “Everyone we’ve met has been so welcoming and willing to stop and chat, which is wonderful.”

Maryanne also had some nice things to say about Orchard Park, as well as living at Orchard. “There were so many things that drew us to Orchard. It feels much more open than other estates, and we were able to find a place that was close to a proposed train station, schools, and of course Orchard Park which is close to our home. We love the size and open feel of the park, the gathering spaces, and the fantastic playground. I’m looking forward to seeing the trees grow!”

And to make sure our residents didn’t go home empty-handed, we gave away more than 300 fig trees to all our attendees, plus surprise gift boxes with some goodies for all to enjoy in their new Orchard homes.

We can’t wait for our next Orchard community event! Watch this space!
