All Together at Tarneit Community Games

Come together with fellow members of the Tarneit community to celebrate Neighbour Day! Wyndham Council, together will Victoria Police and Youth of the Streets, invite locals to mark the occasion and join in the fun at Tarneit Community Games.

This free family event will be perfect for our Orchard community, offering a great chance to get together with current and future neighbours. The day of frivolity will include lots of family-friendly games and activities. There will also be prizes, face painting, crafts and a free BBQ.

For anyone who’d rather spectate than play, there’ll be plenty of other free activities on offer. Think leisurely painting sessions, rock decorating, flower painting and more. Be sure to bring along your picnic essentials and a chair and cheer on the game players on the day.

To add that final neighbourly touch, friendly volunteers will be door knocking around Tarneit in the week leading up to the event, inviting everyone to come along!

According to Wyndham Mayor Cr Mia Shaw, the event is designed for community members to connect with others who live in their area.

“It is an opportunity for residents to meet their neighbours and form relationships so that in the future, every day can be neighbour day,” Cr Shaw said.
