Who doesn’t love a bit of sweet stuff now and then? Founded in 2016 in nearby Point Cook by the exquisitely talented Colleen Brabender, Busy Bee Cakes and Cupcakes has made a huge impression on sweet tooths around the country.

And just as the community has embraced Colleen’s cakes, Colleen is using her cakes to support the community in direct and tangible ways with the release of a 2019 Busy Bee Calendar. According to this Star Weekly interview, it was an idea that came to her following several requests from customers and social media followers.

Featuring a host of imagery of her baking and decorating masterpieces, 50 per cent of all profits from the sale of the Busy Bee Cakes calendar will go toward the Alannah and Madeline Foundation, helping support children who have experienced or witnessed violence, and promoting anti-bullying and children’s safety issues.
