For the Animal Lover

This is not your average Mother’s Day brunch! Werribee Open Range Zoo will be closing off their Meerkat Bistro to hold a lovely buffet breakfast for mums and their families. The event will include delicious hot brekkie items along with fruits and Zoo bakery treats! Tea, barista coffee and juice will be served throughout, with mimosas also available for purchase on the day.

After breakfast, the whole family can enjoy all the attractions the Zoo has to offer – continuing the fun all day long! Zoo admission is included in the ticket price and all mothers attending on the day will go in the draw to win an Endota Spa package!

For the Active Mum

For those looking to make Mother’s Day mean more, the Mother’s Day Classic Werribee is a great option! The event is in its first year and offers participants a 3km or 5km walk option, with the aim to raise funds for breast cancer research. Whether your family has been personally affected by breast cancer, or you’d just love to take part, this event is a great way to get involved in the cause. For the Sweet Tooth  

If mum loves a bit chocolate, she’ll be in her element on a day out at this event. Throughout the entire month of May, the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie is hosting a Rocky Road Festival! There’ll be 31 flavours of rocky road to pick and mix, tasting sessions, a decadent dessert menu and lots more on offer, sure to rock mum’s world.
