From 10:30am, the Melbourne Writer's Festival will host a Harry Potter Day in Federation Square. With fun activities, from dress-up parades to film screenings, there’s a range of fun to leave the whole family spell-bound!

To celebrate the Melbourne Museum's current exhibition ‘Bug Lab: Little Bugs, Super Powers’, giant bug puppets will be on the loose!

What will you see? A giant cockroach? A swarm of bees? Or perhaps a huge redback spider? These mesmerising puppets will capture the imagination of the whole family!

ACMI ‘s Family Sundays offer new and engaging exhibitions throughout the year, and Father’s day is no different as they celebrate the art of storytelling.

Families have an opportunity to craft a comic book or graphic novel and turn family members into superheroes for the day, or design a "choose-your-own adventure" style narrative with Twine. There will also be the ability to write and animate your own storybook adventure with hand-drawn images and iPads.
